Card payment on EV chargers
Charge point operators need outdoor-rated acceptance that survives Irish weather and keeps working when the site link is poor. The assessment covers the charger, the enclosure and the connectivity.
Outdoor-rated hardware
Terminals for charge points are specified for outdoor mounting, temperature range and exposure, and validated against the charger enclosure.
Controller integration
The terminal has to work with the charge point controller and the session flow it exposes, which is confirmed before hardware is quoted.
Pre-authorisation and session close
Sessions that authorise an amount up front and capture the final amount at the end are handled in the payment flow agreed for your charger.
Connectivity and monitoring
Each site is surveyed for signal, and endpoint status is monitored so an unusable charge point is identified quickly.
