NovaPay was founded by Jonathan O’Connor and Peadar Hennessy, bringing together more than two decades of combined experience across the payments industry.
Throughout their careers, Jonathan and Peadar have led successful teams and managed many of the core functions behind high-performing payment businesses, from sales, commercial strategy and strategic partnerships to customer experience, account management and nationwide operations. Together, they combine commercial vision with practical operational expertise and a deep understanding of what merchants genuinely need from their payment provider.
That experience extends throughout NovaPay. Our wider team comprises highly experienced payment professionals drawn from across the industry, including people working in operations, commercial management, customer support, technology, deployment and merchant services. Many have worked alongside Jonathan and Peadar for several years, building strong professional relationships and a shared understanding of how exceptional service should be delivered.
This means that while NovaPay may be a new name, the people, knowledge and operational capability behind it are firmly established. It is a trusted team coming together with a clear purpose: to build something genuinely different for Irish businesses.
